CREAMY MUSHROOM SALAD

2/3 cup dairy sour cream
2 tablespoons finely chopped greed onions with tops
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon dill weed, crushed
Dash white pepper
¼ cup skim milk
1 pound fresh mushrooms, cleaned, and sliced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
¾ pound Bibb lettuce or salad greens
Capers (optional)

Combine sour cream, onion salt and seasonings. Stir in milk until well blended. Cover and chill at least 2 hours. Divide lettuce among 6-8 chilled salad plates. Toss mushrooms with lemon juice. Place on lettuce top with chilled sour cream dressing. Garnish with capers if desired.

Makes 6-8 servings.
