MARINATED MUSHROOMS

2 cups Button Mushrooms
1 cup cider vinegar
½ cup minced onions
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon salt
1 clove garlic split or
1 teaspoon minced garlic
¾ teaspoon sugar
¼ teaspoon celery seed
Pepper to taste


Place above ingredients in a quart jar except for Mushrooms and shake well. Then add Mushrooms and marinade in refrigerator for 24 hours. If at all possible it is best to weigh the Mushrooms down into the marinade, that way the Mushrooms will not turn dark. Marinade can be used again.
