BEEF AND BEANS WITH MUSHROOMS

1 lb. Ground Beef
1/2 cup finely chopped yellow onion
3 slices thick bacon cut into small pieces
1 cup sliced Fresh Mushrooms
1 tbs. butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup ketchup
2 tbs. yellow mustard
2 tsp. vinegar
3 cans pork and beans (16 oz. cans, undrained)
2 cans kidney beans (16 oz. cans, drained)
Brown ground beef, onion, and bacon. Drain and set aside. Sauté fresh mushrooms in butter and drain off excess butter. Add mushrooms to ground beef. In a large Dutch oven combine: brown sugar, salt, ketchup, mustard and vinegar. Stir until mixed together. Add pork and beans, drained kidney beans, beef with mushrooms. Simmer for 30 minutes.
