October 12, 2005 - Fillmore Chamber of Commerce Presentation

Mountainview Mushrooms was asked to give a presentation at the Fillmore Chamber of Commerce Meeting for October. We were able to talk about our business, employees, and products with members of Chamber. There were a lot of great questions and it was interesting to hear the prospective of our business from locals.

September 24, 2005 - Utah State University - Ag Day Barbeque

Mountainview Mushrooms had a booth at the annual Ag Day Barbeque at Utah State University. We served over 1300 servings of mariniated and sautéed mushrooms. It was a great event for good cause. Proceeds go towards scholarships for students in the USU College of Agriculture. Following the barbeque was the USU Aggies football game against the UNLV Rebels, which the Aggies won!

September 23, 2005 - New and Improved Website

We have updated our website to add more value and information for our customers. We have and are adding a FAQ, Recent Events, and Company Store (coming soon) sections of the website. We have also included more information about Handling and Preparation of Mushrooms, as well as, more nutritional information.

September 2005 - National Mushroom Month

It was proclaimed National Mushroom Month by Mike Johanns the Secretary of the United States Department of Agriculture, "to promote a greater appreciation and use of mushrooms" and "call upon all Americans to celeberate marvelous mushrooms with appropriate ceremonies and activities".
