- 3 roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 1/2 C. chopped cilantro
- 1/4 C. finely chopped onion
- 1 small fresh jalapeño or serrano chile, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juice, or more to taste
- 1/2 tsp. fine salt, or 1 tsp kosher salt
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Season to taste with additional chile, lime juice and salt. Before you serve, stir well and drain any excess liquid. Serve with chips or over anything that you feel needs an extra kick.
