Owner

Bart has been working for Mountain View since 2003, when his father bought the farm from Pictsweet Mushroom Farms. He started as the operations manager and, in 2012, purchased the farm from his dad. He has since been the CEO. He holds a degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado.
He aims to improve operations, develop new business opportunities for our mushrooms and mushroom-related products, and give back to the Fillmore community.
Seth Peterson
Agriculture Manager

Seth began working as the Ag Manager in 2024. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture and a master of Science in Plant Science from Utah State University. His past experiences include growing strawberry nursery production, tree crops, and teaching high school science. His crew prepares the compost and grows the mushrooms.
Gilberto Gutierrez
Picking Manager

Gilberto has over 20 years of experience in the Mountain View picking department. He manages the largest department on the farm, with nearly 50 people. Gilberto estimates production and schedules his team, but he's also responsible for training and managing the pickers and the picking process.
Jack Bennett

Jack was promoted to our management team in September 2025, after working in maintenance for ten years. He oversees Mountain View maintenance staff while also planning and executing new equipment and Processes improvement projects.
Lisette Garcia
Controller

Lisette joined our incredible team in February of 2013. She began working part-time while completing her degree in accounting at Dixie State University. She started working here full-time in May of 2013. She started working remotely from a Mexico office in 2025. She oversees accounting functions and payroll.
Alejandra Ruvalcaba
QA And HR Manager

Alejandra Ruvalcaba started working for Mountain View in 2023 as a receptionist. In April 2024, she was offered the QA/Safety Manager position. In December 2024, she began assisting with HR.
