Description
An Inside Production Operator works as part of the Inside Production crew in the Growing department. This crew is responsible for processing the growing trays during the filling, spawning, and casing operations, which are critical components of the growing process. An Inside Production Operator can drive a loader, move trays with a forklift, and clean up the tray line area, where most processing occurs. Watch a short video below to learn more.
Duties
Operate the tray-processing machine and forklifts under all modes of operation, including filling, spawning, casing, room transfer, and haul-out.
General cleanup in work areas
Some loader work
Requirements
Prefer experienced equipment operator, forklift, and loader experience helpful
Willing to learn on the job
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a hot, humid environment with a strong odor
Some outside work in seasonal weather conditions
